- 300 gram(s) nappa cabbage
- 1 tbsp deonjang (fermented soybean paste)
- Bring pot of water to a boil
- Add a pinch of salt
- Blanch cabbage for 2 min in batches
- Immediately transfer to an ice bath
- Ring out excess water and add to a container
- Mix cabbage, 1 tbsp soybean paste, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp sesame oil using your hands
